Copies With Errors or Originals With Errors in the Digital Age

Please Read, and forward.   This will only take 1 minute to read!
28th Amendment, 35 States and Counting.

It will take you less than a minute to read this. If you agree, please pass it on. It's an idea whose time has
come to deal with this self-serving situation:

 OUR PRESENT SITUATION !

Children of Congress members do not have to pay back their college student loans.

Staffers of Congress family members are also exempt from having to pay back student loans.

Members of Congress can retire at full pay after only one term.

Members of Congress have exempted themselves from many of the laws they have passed, under which
ordinary citizens must live.
For example, they are exempt from any fear of prosecution for sexual harassment.

And as the latest example, they have exempted themselves from Healthcare Reform, in all of its aspects.

We must not tolerate an elite class of such people, elected as public servants and then putting themselves
above the law.

I truly don't care if they are Democrat, Republican, Independent, or whatever. The self-serving must stop.

Governors of 35 states have filed suit against the Federal Government for imposing unlawful burdens upon
their states. It only takes 38 (of the 50) States to convene a Constitutional Convention.

If each person that receives this will forward it on to 20 people, in three days most people in The United
States of America will have the message.

Proposed 28th Amendment to the United States Constitution:

"Congress shall make no law that applies to the citizens of the United States that does not apply
equally to the Senators and/or Representatives; and, Congress shall make no law that applies to the Senators
and/or Representatives that does not apply equally to the Citizens of the United States ..."

This is an idea that should be passed around, regardless of political party.

Congressional Reform Act of 2017

1. No Tenure / No Pension. A Congressman/woman collects a salary while in office and receives no pay
when they're out of office. And, no more perks go with them.

2. Congress (past, present, & future) participates in Social Security. All funds in the Congressional retirement
fund move to the Social Security system immediately. All future funds flow into the Social Security system, and
Congress participates with the American people. It may not be used for any other purpose.

3. Congress must purchase their own retirement plan, just as ALL Americans do.

4. Congress will no longer vote themselves a pay raise. Congressional pay will rise by the lower of CPI or 3%.

5. Congress loses their current health care system and participates in the same health care system as the
American people.

6. Congress must equally abide by all laws they impose on the American people (i.e. NO MORE INSIDER
TRADING!!!).

7. All contracts with past and present Congressmen/women are void. The American people did not make this
contract with Congressmen/women. Congress made all these contracts by and for themselves.

Just hold your finger down then hit forward and send it to everyone you know.  Let’s help get the country
straightened out.

(Edited by Craig Hamilton. For instance, I reformatted it. And, I deleted 2 parts. One was a part where there
was a misspelling of the word “privilege.” If the error was in the original copy, the copy has been lost.).

Down With Religion and Science Fundamentalists!

I, as someone who believes in evolution, hope that scientists don't become evolution fundamentalists. By that I mean, as Dr. Bart D. Ehrmanputs it, "No fun, too much damn, and not enough mental," because we don't have a "Theory of Everything," which Albert Einstein and many other scientists have given their life to find. For instance, in science there is no known way to combine carbon and radioactive dating with the idea of oxidative corrosion, which is also a form of aging. However, the discipline of corrosion study is very inaccurate, and will probably always seem that way. It is not a reliable way of studying history, and I believe that if the truth is found, the earth won't be billions of years old, full of stories of epochs of history that are counted in millions of years. Truly, if that is true, I would accept it, but as someone who has taken an Ecology and Evolution Class, as well as a Comparative Chordate Anatomy class, worked in an electrochemistry lab, and read quite a bit of Richard Dawkins writing, I still believe we are probably overestimating the age of things in our world.

Also, I don't believe natural selection is the driving force of evolution. Rather, I believe it is fetish selection that results in the formation of new species. By that I mean natural selection selects for the fittest. However, most species are not the fittest, and they are more likely to become extinct, but nonetheless some species select for things that are queer or unusual in nature, and when reckoned with a mighty sex drive, that is a very powerful force for speciation (the creation of new species).

Part of the reason why I feel this way is from a Richard Dawkins book I read. The question was, "What would it take to disprove the theory of evolution?" The answer was finding something out of order in the fossil record. That has already happened and evolution's fundamentalists closed their eyes and hoped it would go away. The finding was a Coelacanth, a fish long thought extinct for millions of years was showing up in fishermen's catches. "Coelacanths were thought to have become extinct in the Late Cretaceous, around 66 million years ago, but were rediscovered in 1938 off the coast of South Africa.[6][7]" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coelacanth

The same is true for biblical literalists that would bet their life that the creation week was literally created in 7 24hr days. They say evolution can't happen, but that is easily proved wrong when examining old world snakes, such as pythons. On the outside of a usual python there is not a hint that it has legs. Yet, if you dissect a python, you will find evidence of a pelvic girdle and limbs, suggesting at one point in history, the ancestors of snakes walked on 4 legs!

A Letter to Doctor Bart D. Ehrman

Dear Prof. Ehrman,

I completely understand why you feel that there can be good without faith. I agree. However, the cosmos is beyond reason.

Sure, I agree 100% with you that I find pretty much all the ethics I need in secular humanism. However, the universe is filled with magic. Faith is a reason we need not fear cosmic careening out of control. We need faith to say, "I know this universe is continually created from nothing, and I have no fear that in the next moment reality Gd just may give up on us, such that we leave existence without a fizzle."

Reason is trapped in the inexplicable how does the inventor figure out how to make a part of the universe malfunction. Atheists assume that it is impossible to make the world malfunction. Why? Because of reason. Where did that reason come from? Chaos? Is chaos great enough that it could create a world that won't fizzled out. And, if it is indeed Chaos that is behind this all, haven't we put Chaos behind the curtains of reality, as a God, heaven forefend.

"Why doesn't the universe cease to be?" says the Teacher.

Everyday is as amazing as The Big Bang if you ask me. Every moment matter is a limit, such that we need far more explanation than what came first in the universe. How many times have some of us assumed that without a Goad to animate us, the world would go on ticking. A void is created if we are without faith. Where would we be if we had no Gd to sustain us, or animate us to do His will, as a part of His choose your own adventure plan.

Sincerely,
Craig Hamilton

Reviews of Books by Bart D. Ehrman

**** Jesus Interrupted - Bart D. Ehrman - Ehrman is one of my favorite authors. He exposes some contradictions in the New Testament that are not able to be reconciled. If you have Christians breathing down your back, evangelizing, trying to get you to convert, consider this book as weaponry. Evangelists your contradictions are exposed, and your Word is not reliable!
